Russian Federal Agency Maritime and Inland Shipping, Russian Foundation for Basic research, Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping, and Linnaeus University (Sweden) plan to hold from 06th December to 07st December, 2013, the International Youth Science Environmental Forum of Baltic Region Countries "ECOBALTICA' 2013".
Planning Scientific Sessions within the Frame of "ECOBALTICA" Forum:
1.Fundamental and applied research on pollution processes in different environmental matrices;
2.Waste water purification technologies, effluent gases and solid waste handling;
3.Methods for environmental quality management. Mathematical modeling and geo-informational technologies as tools for ecological assessment and forecasting of environmental quality;
4.Land restoration and rehabilitation of impacted ecosystems;
5.Economical, legal and political aspects of nature management and nature protective activity.
6.Bioenergetics and energy of secondary sources;
7.Methods of ecological risk evaluation;
8.Emergency situations and accidents due to anthropogenic causes, their forecasting and prevention;
9.Social - Ecological and Economic bases of competition and mutual cooperation among Baltic Region countries.
Planning Round Tables:
- Cooperation development of educational, scientific and industrial organizations in the Baltic Region in the area of waste water treatment technologies for the wood industry.
- The role of nature science courses in educational process for environmental safety specialization students in Baltic See Region.
- Baltic See region environmental sciences international research and innovation cooperation - possibility for youth.
We are glad to invite students, post-graduate students and young scientists (up to 40 years old), scientific advisors, representatives of universities, scientific and industrial centers, enterprises and firms, representatives of social organizations, as well as all person concerned.

The International Youth Environmental Forum "ECOBALTICA" is directed to increase scientific level of young specialists-ecologists, to form ecological sense and establish close partner relations between institutes of higher education, research institutes, industrial companies and administrative bodies in Baltic Region. Scientific program of conferences will be realized at the plenary sittings and sessions, as well as with use of poster presentations.
Language
The working languages of the Forum are English and Russian.
Materials
Abstracts shall be sent both e-mail ([email protected], [email protected] ) in English and should not exceed 100 words, plus title of paper (by heading letters), names of authors and affiliation with official addresses. The files should be in RTF format. In the topic (subject) of the electronic letter it is obligatory to inform "surname, first name, name of the session the paper shall be presented, Forum "ECOBALTICA"".
