1.разрешения, переводится на русский язык словами могу, можно (ли), могу ли

2.предположения, переводится на русский язык словами может быть, возможно
It maysnow today. Сегодня, возможно, пойдёт снег.
She maycome to Moscow Она, может быть (возможно),

Модальный глагол must
Модальный глагол mustимеет следующие значения:
1.должен, надо, нужно
We must help them. Мы должны помочь им.
He must go to the University. Он должен (ему нужно)
идти в университет.
Youmustphone me. Вы должны позвонить мне.
2) должно быть, вероятно
Shemustknow English well. Она, должно быть, знает
английский хорошо.
They mustbe at home. Они, вероятно, дома.

Модальный глагол need
Модальный глагол needупотребляется для выражения необходимости совершить действие со значением нужно, надо (только в форме Present Simple в отрицательных и вопросительных предложениях):
You need notcome today. Вам не нужно приходить сегодня.
Need she come so early? Нужно ли ей приходить так рано?
Глагол needупотребляется также как смысловой глагол со значением нуждаться (в чём-нибудь) (в настоящем, прошедшем и будущем времени):
Do they need our help? Им нужна наша помощь?
You neededa rest. Вы нуждались в отдыхе.
They’ll needa flat. Им будет нужна квартира.
