Y.V. Savenko. Laser Diagnostic System on Base of Analyse of Blood Scatering Indicatriex.
The dissertation for competition for the candidate degree of technical science on speciality 05.11.17– Biological And Medical Devices And Systems. – Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics, Kharkiv, 2006.
The dissertation is devoted to improvement of the laser techniques and systems for diagnostics of blood cell, blood system and human organism. Main tasks of this work was following: creation of a system, which analyses the blood cells on performances of space scattering of a laser radiation; development and producing the research system based on the created developed for realization of clinical experiments.
The basic idea of diagnostic system consists of the following: a deriving of a diagnostic state information of health of a patient by analyzing of a relation between the blood cells, and by analyzing of a shape of blood elements. The relation of a size of blood elements and wavelength of a laser radiation shows, that they can be referred to large particles. Therefore as an initial mathematical model Mie model of scattering has been chosen. Calculations of basic performances of scattering (indicatrixes, intensities, and amplitude functions) were performed under developed programs. It has been noted that distributions of intensities are different for different particles and for different state of particle. These differences were putted in a basis of the laser diagnostic system on analyze of blood cell scattering.
The principle of work of the analyzer consists in scanning of distribution of scattering intensity of in a range of angles and comparison with a standard database. Multichannel correlation receiver operates a comparison mode. A channel of the correlation receiver consists of unit, which peak–frequency characteristics is compared with such one of a researched particle and purely of correlator, unit of a comparison and unit of indication.
Theoretical investigation of angular distribution and correlation allows determine which of angular ranges is more suitable for cell selection. Transferring into time domain region makes an ability to use tradition signal processing systems. Comparison of polar, polar-logarithmic and Cartesian-logarithmic data shows that using of Cartesian logarithmic data allows more easily operating with it as with usual signal in time domain.
Analysis of time range of measurement allow to determine more important range which will be used either for selection of blood cell type or for detection bad/good cell of one type. Decisions can be made on analysis of correlation curves. Fast reducing of correlation rate indicate that differences between erythrocyte and trombocythe are essential in selected range and this range is more useful for cell selectivity. Last one could be put in principle of disease diagnostic on changes of blood cell shapes.
The results of computer simulation for selection and determination morphologic specialties of blood cells in real time have been presented. There are described functional and design specialties of laser diagnostic system, that realized the diagnostics on bases of analyse of blood cell scattering indicatrixe The effect of interaction between laser radiation and human blood in static and dynamic mode has been investigated. The techniques of determination parameters of blood elements by using the discrete and flowing type laser analyzer and without using the additional manual operating processes and visual analyzing of blood elements has been proposed. Different variants for automation process of human blood diagnostics were observed.
Clinical tests have confirmed the effectiveness of using the laser diagnostic system on bases of analyses of blood cell scattering indicatrixe for diagnostics of blood cell, blood system and human organism.
