Пояснительная записка
В соответствии с учебным планом и рабочей программой, составленными в соответствии с требованиями ФГОСа СПО по специальности 260807 «Технология продукции общественного питания» студенты заочного отделения изучают дисциплину «Иностранный язык». Данной дисциплине отводится значительная роль в выполнении общеобразовательных и воспитательных задач, повышении образовательного и культурного уровня личности студента и его дальнейшего развития.
В результате освоения дисциплины студент
Должен уметь
- общаться (устно и письменно) на иностранном языке на профессиональные и повседневные темы (ОК-6);
переводить (со словарем) иностранные тексты профессиональной направленности (ОК-4);
самостоятельно совершенствовать устную и письменную речь, пополнять словарный запас (ОК-2).
Должен знать
- лексический (1200-1400 лексических единиц) и грамматический минимум, необходимый для чтения и перевода (со словарем) иностранных текстов профессиональной направленности (ОК-5).
Максимальная учебная нагрузка по дисциплине составляет 186 часов, из них на заочном отделении аудиторная нагрузка — 36 часов, самостоятельная работа — 150 часов.
Основой заочного обучения является самостоятельная работа, которая предусматривает ведение тематического словаря, в котором студент должен записывать названия продуктов питания, блюд, формулы речевого этикета и т.д.
Во время изучения дисциплины студенты- заочники на V курсе (4 год обучения) выполняют Контрольную работу № 2.
Итоговая аттестация проводится в форме дифференцированного зачета в конце каждого семестра изучаемой дисциплины.

Методические рекомендации по выполнению контрольной работы
Выполнению контрольной работы предшествуют обзорные, установочные занятия и самостоятельная работа студента над программным материалом по рекомендуемой литературе, а также по другим учебным пособиям по английскому языку для средних специальных учебных заведений.
Письменная контрольная работа выполняется самостоятельно, пишется разборчиво и аккуратно. На первой странице тетради, в которой выполняется контрольная работа, необходимо написать название предмета, номер контрольной работы, шифр, название учебного заведения, фамилию, имя, отчество и домашний адрес. Работа завершается указанием перечня использованной литературы. Необходимо указывать фамилию и инициалы автора, полное наименование учебника, название издательства и год издания. В конце работы ставится подпись и дата выполнения работы, и оставляются 2 – 3 чистые страницы для рецензии преподавателя. Контрольная работа, признанная преподавателем удовлетворительной, оценивается словом “зачтено”, а неудовлетворительная – “не зачтено”. Незачтённую работу студент выполняет повторно по варианту, указанному преподавателем в рецензии, и отсылает в колледж обязательно вместе с незачтённой работой. Контрольная работа, выполненная не в полном объёме, не по своему варианту, безграмотно, неряшливо, на рецензию преподавателем не принимается и возвращается без проверки.
Контрольные работы представлены в десяти вариантах. Задания выполняются в соответствии с вариантом, который определяется по последней цифре шифра личного дела студента. Если номер личного дела студента оканчивается на цифру 1, то выполняется первый вариант и т. д., на цифру 0 – десятый вариант. Студенты должны выполнить письменно один вариант контрольной работы, остальные проработать устно, так как лексический материал в вариантах не повторяется, но подлежит опросу на переводных экзаменах и зачётах. Перед выполнением контрольной работы необходимо повторить грамматический материал.

A restaurant personnel is presented by waiters, bussers, cooks, kitchen helpers and others. Waiters take orders from visitors and take round trays with dishes to them. Kitchen helpers perform different tasks like assisting waiters, throwing away rubbish, carrying food and kitchen ware. A butcher has another responsibility – to cut meat and meat products. A store keeper is responsible foe keeping goods – products and kitchen things for giving them to kitchen workers.
