Age of participants Ensembles of 9 and more players and orchestras
5-10 years, 11-13 years, 15-19 years, mixed.
Groups are defined by the senior member of the group.
Each participant should prepare a competitive program on a free theme: program should contain 2 shorts various composition with the total duration of the sound (solo and groups up to 9 participants) not more than 5 minutes for age 5-8 years, not more than 7 minutes for age 9-13 years, not more than 10 minutes for age 14 years and older, not more than 10-15 minutes for orchestras (with accompaniment: phonogram, piano, accordion, etc. or solo)
Criteria for assessing of the performances:intonation,musicality, virtuosity, sound culture, understanding of the style, artistic interpretation of the piece of music, ensemble structure, selection of repertoire, artistic, scenic image, originality of performance.
Age categories can be changed depend on submitted applications.
Conditions of the Contest and technical requirements:
§ Phonogram should be in 2 kinds: on a CD-R and on USB flash drive with high quality sound. Phonogram should be recorded: on CD-R in audio format; on USB flash drive in WAV.
§ Each phonogram should be recorded on separate media with indication of the city, the name of the ensemble or surname of an individual artist.
§ Performances with phonogram with recorded voice (phonogram “plus”) are prohibited.
§ The Organizing Committee can provide with professional concertmaster (notes sent in advance by e-mail: [email protected]). The cost of the work is $ 17 for nomination.
§ Common light at gaffer’s discretion is used during the performances. The Organizing Committee doesn’t provide with additional technical equipment (music stands, other stands, synthesizers, drum machines, guitar amplifier, loudspeakers, etc.). Connection of additional equipment must be specified in the application and discussed with the Organizing Committee.
§ The presence of the Head near the soundman during the competition is eliminated. The Organizing Committee is not responsible for quality and playback of disks and phonogram!
§ The Organizing Committee has the right to change the Contest program, the order of participants’ performances, dates, time and place of the Contest. Participants can be accredited only on the day of the nomination’s performance. Makeup room is available only one hour before the performance of nomination and age category, and half an hour after the performance.
§ The Organizing Committee is not responsible for lateness and non-attendance at the Contest program. Payment is non-refundable for any reason.
§ Dear participants please don’t bring at the Contest expensive, valuable disks and flash drives, because Administration is not responsible in case of loss!
Technical support (corrections are possible):
§ Sound equipment, monitors, hanging microphones, СD and MD player, notebook, 10 microphones on stands concert light, scene (working area is 8x8m). Covering - linoleum. Organizing Committee provides with only 1 piano, which not be imposed on the center of the stage during performances at Palace of Children and Youth "Zolak" and 2 piano at Minsk State College of Arts (for Nomination«Instrumental performance») .
§ For participation at the Contest in all nominations props and musical instruments are provided by participants, the amount and structure are specified in the electronic application.
General requirements:
§ Change of repertoire during the Contest is prohibited.
§ Participants may be represented alone in their nomination and age category.
§ The Organizing committee has the right to terminate the acceptance of applications to any nomination before the deadline, if the number of applications exceeded the technical capabilities of the Contest.
§ Age of an individual artist is determined at the moment of the Contest (individual performers indicate the total number of years in the application). In the case of dispute, the Organizing Committee has the right to require the document which proves age of the participant.
§ Participants have the right to participate in several nominations if they provide to the Organizing Committee a separate application for each nomination. 20% discount for each nomination is granted for participation in the additional nomination
§ 20% discount for participation at the Contest is granted for children from large families, 50% discount is granted for participants with disabilities, orphans in the case of provision of supporting documents. In the case of availability of a gift certificate for participation at the Contest, social discounts are not available.
§ The rehearsal is held from 7.00 am to 8.40 am. Duration of rehearsal time is not more than 3 minutes.
§ If the participant does not manage to perform the program in its nomination and age group, for any reason, the competition program is transferred after the performances of all nominations and age groups, and is viewed separately.
§ The Organizing committee has the right to exclude from participation collective or an individual artist for misbehavior during the Contest. In this case the registration fee is not refundable.
§ Preparation of invitation letters for the organizations and participants, contracts with participants or organizations are carried out by an oral or written request of the participant during the period from 1 to 20 October 2016.
§ The Organizing committee is not responsible for the availability of rights to use the declared contestants’ works.
§ Photographing is held at the Contest - a review of the Contest. If you need some photos of the certain performance, please contact the photographer or the Organizing Committee in advance.
Procedure of registration at the Contest:

§ The application of the established sample.
§ The list of participants and accompanying persons according to the sample on a separate sheet (for foreign participants)

§ For entry to the territory of Belarus, the Нead must have: the consent of the parents certified by the notary. Crossing the border, underage citizens of Russia or the CIS countries need to have a passport or birth certificate with proof of citizenship (insert or stamp).
§ Children's collectives and performers up to 12 years old must have at least one accompanying person for 8 children, who are fully responsible for the safety of children’s life and health.
