ELO JERRY FRANK
Jerrold (Jerry) Frank is the English Language Officer at the U.S. Embassy Moscow. Prior to arriving in Moscow Jerry served in Kyiv, Ukraine as the Regional English Officer where he covered six countries: Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Belarus, Moldova, and Azerbaijan. Before joining the State Department Jerry lived and worked in Sapporo, Japan where he was a professor of English language instruction at Hokusho University. Jerry has taught English at all levels (from preschoolers to graduate students) and has been a teacher and teacher trainer throughout Japan, Korea, and the United States. Jerry has a Master’s degree in ESL from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Master’s degree in Education and Literacy from the University of Missouri Columbia.
DR PETR STEPICHEV
Peter A.Stepichev - an associate professor of the chair of English Philology at Russian State Social University, MELTA vice-president, teacher trainer and author. His patented tool "Grammar Cube" (ГрамИК) and a series of board games won the recognition in 2012 Moscow Teacher of the Year contest, resulting in winning a scholarship to study at Norwich (England) and Germany. This experience as well as participation in 2014 IPV program in the USA allows the presenter to share lots of practical ideas for the lesson for teachers hungry for new approaches and unconventional teaching practices.
Kore Gleason
Kore Gleason is the director of the American Center at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, where she has worked for the past six years. A graduate of Mount Holyoke College, where she studied Russian, French and Arabic, Kore has worked in various aspects of international education and cross-cultural exchanges over the past twenty years. These jobs have taken her to beautiful places in Russia, such as Kamchatka, Buryatia, Kalmykia and Tuva and many others. Kore is originally from Oregon and Alaska, and loves camping in the outdoors, photography, writing short stories and spending time with her family.
Larisa Gribenkova
Larisa Gribenkova has been teaching for more than 20 years and she has been a teacher trainer for 8 years. She graduated from the Teacher Training University in Omsk and majored in Teaching English to Young Learners at the University College of St. Mark and John Plymouth, UK. She was a participant of the joint British Council and Ministry of Education textbook project and she is a co-author of books 2, 3 and 4 of the course book series “Millie” for primary schools. Larisa has worked for Language Link since 2008 as an EFL teacher and a teacher trainer. She has also been Director of Studies for Young Learners. She is an experienced international examiner. In the Teacher Training Department, Larisa runs the Young Learners Refresher and the TKT YL Preparation Courses as well as a seminar devoted to Early Literacy.
