(1) NOTES (regarding KGSP application for admission to Semyung University )
- Applicants should follow the guidelines for application for admission to Semyung university.
- Applicants should choose up to a preferred university in filling out FORM 1, FORM 4 and FORM 5; make sure to pick ONLY ONE department (or major) (Engineering or Nature Science majors)for a preferred university. (Must apply for ‘Semyung University’)
- Semyung University will select up to 3 candidates from all of the quota-assigned countries and recommend them to NIIED.
- Regarding the required documents for application for admission, some other materials may be required, according to the policy of Semyung University. In such case, applicants should submit the required documents upon Semyung University’s request.
- Transferring to a different university is NOT allowed after confirming his/her final choice of a university.
- Regardless of university admission, the grantee should reach level 3 in TOPIK upon completion of the preliminary Korean language course, before starting to take associate degree program. Otherwise, s/he cannot start his/her degree course; s/he may take an additional 6 month Korean language course WITHIN the scholarship period stipulated in a letter of invitation.
(2) NOTES (regarding ACE Global Scholarship application for admission to Semyug University )
- Applicant should submit all of the required documents upon Semyung University’s request
- You must apply for the KGSP program first. Upon completion of this application, you will automatically be entered into contention for the ACE Global Scholarship Program.
- The final successful candidates of ACE Global scholarship program will only be chosen from the applicants of KGSP program recommended to NIIED through Semyung University
