A person’s health is influenced by some factors such as – eating habits, physical fitness, no addictions, good sleep, environmental conditions, positive thoughts, good mood. So to my mind first of all to be healthy we must lead a healthy way of life. For example, healthy food is a very important factor. Overeating causes many dangerous diseases. We shouldn’t snack and we should have breakfast. We should eat healthy balanced and low-fat food, more fruit and vegetables, meat, milk products, which are rich in vitamins and proteins. We shouldn’t eat at night. We should drink water because it helps to re-energize and keep going. And the best way to be healthy is to go in for sports. Sport is very important in our life. It is popular among young and old people. Sport helps to make people strong, brave and cheerful. There is a proverb “a healthy body for a healthy mind”. It makes people more self-organized and disciplined. We can go in for sports in winter and in summer, indoors and outdoors. Sport is paid a lot of attention in our country. So I personally go… (jogging, swimming, skating, skiing, play football) Getting even little exercise every day will help you to feel and look better and will keep you in good shape.

To keep fit, it is also very useful to walk a lot, to play active games, to spend a lot of time outdoors in the fresh air and to sleep at least 8 hours a day to be awake and attentive.

And of course you must do something you love, it can be your work or hobby. It’s important to feel good about yourself. Positive emotions are healthy and prolong life.

Do you agree that smoking is unhealthy habit? Why (not)?

Yes I agree. Lots of people smoke; some teens start smoking at the age of 12-13 because they think that it is the best variant to show their society position and to demonstrate their lieder features. And it’s terrible, because it can only ruin their health. I think that smoking is the shortest way to bad health. It's common knowledge that smoking can shorten our lives dramatically. More than 40 diseases are associated with smoking (cancer, bronchitis, heart diseases). Vitamin C is destroyed. That is why a smoker looks older.

Everybody knows that smoking is dangerous for health and life but goes on smoking, the reason is that it cause strong dependence and it is difficult for person to stop. Smoking also affects passive smokers, the person who smokes near other people, harms not just him but the people who breath in the smoke. So there are too many risks and it’s never late to stop smoking.

What can you advise to a person who wants to loose weight?

First of all if you are under 18 and still grow it may be unnecessary. In this case just try not to overeat and do sports and move a lot. If you have decided to loose weight do not hurry, be patient, it’s more effective if you loose weight slowly. Remember that be on a diet doesn’t mean to eat nothing, just follow simple rules: don’t use fat, salt, sweet, fried food, move a lot, choose any physical activity you like, but do this regularly. Usually the combination of a healthy diet and doing exercises give best results.

Our world is getting faster and faster and people don’t have time to cook and eat. A great number of people believe that fast food is a good solution it is easy and convenient, tastes good and doesn't cost a lot of money. However, fast food is usually cheap because it's often made with cheaper ingredients. As for me, I think that fast food is harmful for us. Firstly, fast food hasn’t got any vitamins which are necessary for health. Secondly, a lot of people like to eat hamburgers and drink coca cola. But what is tasty is not always healthy. Fast food makes you fat. Thirdly, fast food destroys people’s health it can lead to health problems such as high blood pressure, heart diseases, and obesity. It also lacks many nutrients, vitamins, and minerals a human body needs. So we must eat well-balanced diet to get proper nutrition because our health depends a lot on what we eat.
