You can add, edit and delete registry values in the Offline Explorer Enterprise registry key. We recommend you to avoid deleting or editing the registry values to ensure correct work of Offline Explorer Enterprise. Nevertheless, adding the registry values enables you to change some of the Offline Explorer Enterprise settings.
How to add Registry Values
To add a Registry Value, follow these steps:
- Quit Offline Explorer Enterprise.
- Open the Command Prompt window or the Run dialog box of the Windows Start Menu, type regedit.exe , and press Enter.
In the Registry Editor, browse to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Metaproducts\Offline Explorer Pro\Parameters
- Right-click on the empty space of the Registry Editor screen.
- Point to New, and then choose the type of a value you would like to add.
- Type the value from the List of Additional Registry Values.
- Click Ok.
- Run Offline Explorer Enterprise.
List of Additional Registry Values
Value | Type | Action |
ParsingPriority | DWORD | Define priority of the parsing thread: 0 - normal, 1 - lower, 2 - lowest, 3 - idle. |
ParsingMax | DWORD | Limit the Parsing queue in files. When the Parsing queue limit is exceeded, downloading new files will be suspended. |
OvrSymbol | String | Define how to name overloaded directories. The default names for overloaded directories are: %&ovr0, %&ovr1, etc. |
MaxOvrFiles | DWORD | Specify the maximum amount of files available per directory. When this amount is exceeded, the subdirectories will be created. |
LogLimit | DWORD | Specify the maximum number of log lines. When the number is exceeded, log lines will be cleared. |
DefaultDoc | String | Insert default.htm as a default filename extension if a URL ends with the slash symbol. |
ASPAsHTML | DWORD | Force Offline Explorer Enterprise to export all ASP files as HTMLs. |
GlobalAcceptLanguage | String | Add Accept-Language request header to all HTTP request headers. |
ExportReplaceChar | String | Replace symbol for 8+3 file names format in the Export. |
SkipHTMLOnExport | DWORD | Skip adding <HTML> tag to Web pages. |
HideCheckNewVersion | DWORD | Hide the Check for New Version toolbar button and the Options dialog box. |
SkipIndexInDD | DWORD | Skip creating default.htm index file in the Download directory. |
