To skip downloading specific URLs, follow these steps
- In the Project Properties dialog box, URL Filters group, select URL Exclusions
- In the Skip the following URLs box, type the URLs you do not want to download
Example:
http://www.server.com/dir/file.html
If you enter this URL into the Skip the following URLs box, Offline Explorer Pro will not download this URL.
When setting filters to skip downloading specific URLs, you can also specify servers and directories to skip.
Skip downloading from specific servers
To skip downloading from specific servers, do the following:
- In the Skip the following URLs box, type the URLs with the ending slash following the server name.
Example:
http://www.server.com/
If you enter this URL into the Skip the following URLs box, Offline Explorer Pro will not download any file located within the specified server.
Skip downloading from specific directories
To skip downloading from specific directories, do the following:
- In the Skip the following URLs box, type the URLs with the ending slash following the directory name.
Example:
http://www.server.com/dir/
If you enter this URL into the Skip the following URLs box, Offline Explorer Pro will not download any file located within the specified directory.

Setting filters to select the protocols allowed for downloading
- Allow downloading from all protocols
- Allow downloading from the starting protocol only
- Restrict downloading to the specific protocols
Allow downloading from all protocols
To allow downloading from all protocols, do the following:
- In the Project Properties dialog box, URL Filters group, select Protocol and then select Load all Protocols.
Offline Explorer Pro will download files from any protocol.
Allow downloading from the starting protocol only
To allow downloading from the starting protocol only, do the following:
- In the Project Properties dialog box, URL Filters group, select Protocol and then select Load only the starting Protocol.
Offline Explorer Pro will only download files located within the protocol of your Project starting URL.
Restrict downloading to the specific protocols
To restrict downloading to specific protocols, do the following:
· In the Project Properties dialog box, URL Filters group, select Protocol and then select Custom protocols configuration.
You can then check the protocols that you want to download
The files located within the checked protocols will be downloaded, while the files located within the unchecked protocols will be skipped.
