Higher education in Russia
Higher education in Russia is a way to get a desirable profession and to find a well-paid job. There are a huge number of universities and colleges in Russia. The most famous are universities in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. Among them are the following: Moscow State University, Moscow State University of International relations etc. The universities can be also public and private.
The students at schools must take some exams to enter a university. There is so called United State Examination. Two exams – Russian language and Mathematics are compulsory. Others are elective.
The results of these exams can be used to accept a freshman. Every student can apply for several universities and then choose the best one. The undergraduate students can study free if we talk about budget places. Or they can pay for their education. The fee is rather high. But undergraduate students have a possibility to work.
To my mind, higher education is necessary today. If you want to be successful or to achieve your goals, higher education is useful for it.
