ВСТУП

Навчальна дисципліна “Практика перекладу (основна мова)” передбачає формування навиків не лише письмового перекладу, але й усного послідовного перекладу у студентів-магістрів, які при навчанні на кафедрі прикладної лінгвістики Національного університету “Львівська політехніка” здобувають кваліфікацію “професіонала в галузі перекладу та комп’ютерної обробки інформації”. Курс “Усного перекладу” в межах зазначеної дисципліни передбачає розширення знань з галузевих блоків, з якими знайомляться студенти під час вивчення цього курсу, а також спрямований на удосконалення навиків аудіювання на основі прослуховування автентичних англомовних матеріалів. Окрім того студенти знайомляться з термінологією та відповідною лексикою і виконують спеціальний вид перекладу за різною тематикою (юридичною, медичною, науково-технічною, тощо).

“Практика перекладу (основна мова)” як навчальна дисципліна викладається для студентів-магістрів денної і заочної форм навчання спеціальності “Прикладна лінгвістика” протягом двох семестрів. 1 семестр присвячено аспекту “Усного перекладу”, 2 – відповідно аспекту “Письмового перекладу”. В кінці 1 семестру згідно з навчальним планом кафедри з підготовки магістрів передбачено залік, а в кінці 2 семестру іспит.

Проведення залікового контролю з аспекту “Усний переклад” включає оцінювання поточного контролю за виконаними студентами обов’язковими індивідуальними видами робіт (як в аудиторії, так і самостійно) та написання студентом контрольної залікової роботи в кінці 1 семестру в письмовій формі.

Поточний контроль оцінюється в сумі у 70 балів.

Заліковий контрольний тест у письмовому вигляді – 30 балів.

Максимальна залікова оцінка – 100 балів.

Методичні вказівки розроблені з метою полегшити організацію як аудиторної, так і самостійної роботи студентів, які засвоюють цю дисципліну згідно з навчальним планом. Змістом методичної розробки передбачено: ознайомити студентів з тематичним планом занять; подати теми для самостійного опрацювання матеріалу; рекомендувати список основної та додаткової літератури до курсу; представити перелік питань до заліку, а також зразок залікової контрольної роботи.

ПОЯСНЮВАЛЬНА ЗАПИСКА

Основна мета викладення дисципліни “Усний переклад” – надати студентам навичок усного послідовного перекладу з англійської мови та на англійську та розвинути вміння застосовувати набуті знання у перекладацькій діяльності.

Завдання вивчення дисципліни:

– забезпечити фонові знання, необхідні перекладачеві для роботи у різних галузях (науково-технічній, медичній, юридичній, освітній, тощо);

– засвоїти відповідну термінологію;

– ознайомити з проблемами усного (зокрема і синхронного) перекладу;

– сформувати практичні навички усного послідовного перекладу на конкретному мовному матеріалі;

– закріпити набуті навички перекладу з рідної мови на англійську та з англійської на рідну за допомогою автентичних аудіоматеріалів, які додаються.

У результаті вивчення дисципліни, студент повинен знати:

– основні правила перекладу типових для української та англійської мов граматичних конструкцій;

– термінологічні особливості процесу усного перекладу;

– відповідники слів, реалій, термінів в межах тем навчальної програми;

– правила виконання професійного усного перекладу;

– кодекс честі перекладача (затверджений Асоціацією перекладачів України);

– вимоги до перекладача-синхроніста.

Підготовлений фахівець повинен вміти:

– перекладати з англійської і на англійську автентичні матеріали різної тематики та складності;

– знаходити відповідники слів, реалій, понять в українській та англійській мовах, не відчуваючи браку мовних засобів для здійснення перекладу;

– вільно користуватися англійською мовою у професійних сферах.

Методика організації роботи під час вивчення курсу “Усного Перекладу” складається з двох взаємопов’язаних частин: роботи викладача і роботи студента.

Форми роботи викладача:

– проведення авдиторних занять;

– контроль за опрацюванням навчальних матеріалів з тематики курсу;

– організація і контроль за самостійною роботою студентів;

– консультування студентів;

– організація і проведення залікової контрольної роботи;

– організація і здіснення підсумкового залікового контролю студентів; виставлення семестрової залікової оцінки.

Форми роботи студента:

– опрацювання автентичного англомовного матеріалу у формі прослуховування аудіоматеріалів як на занятті, так і самостійно;

– читання наукової літератури з аспектів усного (зокрема синхронного) перекладу;

– аналіз текстів громадсько-політичного, медичного, юридичного, освітнього спрямування обсягом 1000 друкованих знаків та його перекладу на англійську та з англійської на українську мову;

– засвоєння лексики та термінології до визначених викладачем тематичних циклів курсу;

– опрацювання тем, винесених на самостійне вивчення;

– консультування з викладачем;

– виконання усіх видів обов’язкових індивідуальних робіт під час поточного контролю з навчальної дисципліни протягом семестру;

– підготовка до складання заліку у вигляді залікової контрольної роботи.
