Ход урока

1. Орг.момент.

2. Постановка цели урока: Today we’re going to speak about our relationships with friends

and relatives, how we relate to our friends and family

3. Ознакомить с разделом 1 (Module 1)

a) ask ss which page each picture is;

b) ask ss to find the page number for:

§ a list of things to do (p.14);

§ an author’s biography (p.16);

§ single dictionary entry (p.22);

§ a letter (p.19).

c) ask ss to elicit what each section is about:

§ a Literature section;

§ a Culture Corner;

§ an Across the Curriculum section;

§ a Going Green section.

d) read through the list of items that will be covered in the module, go through the list and put

a tick next to the item that you think you know, a cross next to the ones you don’t know

and a star next to the ones you think will be the most useful.

4. Ознакомить с новой лексикой (ex.1,p.10)

a) обратить внимание учащихся на конструкцию-enjoy doing smth.

b) ответить на вопросы, используя эту конструкцию.

5. Работа с текстом (ех.2,3,4)

a) look at the title and the introduction of the text. What do you think the text is about?

b) listen to the recoding, read the text and check the answers;

c) read the text again, underline key words in the questions and answer them;

d) work in pairs (one of you is a TV reporter interviewing a teenager from the text about

6. Ознакомить учащихся с выражениями предпочтения и неудовольствия (ех.5)

a) work in pairs. Find out what your partner likes and dislikes doing;

b) act out short exchanges in front of the class.

a) think of ten new words/phrases you have learnt in this lesson;

b) make sentences using them.

Тема: «Strong ties»

Цель: совершенствовать речевые умения по теме

Задачи: 1. семантизация новой лексики и тренировка учащихся в её употреблении;

2. организовать работу учащихся с тематическим диалогом;

3. тренировать учащихся в аудировании аутентичной разговорной речи;

Организовать работу учащихся с английскими идиомами и словами с

Омономичными корнями.

Ход урока

2. Постановка цели урока: Today you’re going to know how to describe personal qualities

as well as how to express annoyance.

3. Фонетическая зарядка:

Look at the phrases and say what you do : a) every day; b) sometimes; c)seldom;

d) two times a week; e) never.

Chat online, grab a bite, go clubbing, do extreme sports, go for а sporty look, surf the Net.

4. Речевая зарядка:

a) answer my questions:

Do you try to grab a bite at school or to have dinner at home?

When and where do you like hanging out with your friends?

How often do you play computer games?

How many times a month do you go clubbing?

Do you like to go window shopping?

How often do you send text messages to your friends?

Do you like to surf the Net?

Why do people do voluntary work?

b) read the poem and think of your best friend and answer the question.(For example:

my best friend is special because he/she….)

5. Работа с новой лексикой

а) отработка произношения;

b) say to me what qualities you look in a friend and which you avoid;

c) work in groups discussing important character qualities in a friend.

6. Работа с тематическим диалогом

a) look at the dialogue and answer the questions (ex.3,p.12);

b) listen to the recording;

c) read the dialogue aloud;

d) read out the adjectives used to describe people.

7. Аудирование

a) what statements do you agree with and why? (ex.6, p.13)

b) now listen to a radio interview and number the statements above in the order you hear them;

c) choose the correct answer to the statements ( ex.7, p.13),then listen and check.

8. Работа с идиомами и однокоренными словами

a) do ex.9 and give Russian equivalents to these English idioms;

b) don’t confuse: supporting/supportive; careful/caring; respected/respectful; mean/well-meaning.

9. Домашнее задание: р.158 , ех.1-4; рассказ о своём друге (ех.11, р. 13)

10.Подведение итогов урока.

Задачи: 1.повторить глагольные времена группы Present;

Ознакомить учащихся с фразовым глаголом to look , тренировать

в его употреблении;
