Цель работы – освоить основные виды чтения, которыми должен владеть студент, чтобы читать литературу по специальности и научиться при необходимости переключаться с одного вида чтения на другой, т.е. читать по-разному (либо понять только тему, главные мысли, либо найти все детали описываемого предмета).

Виды чтения отличаются в основном по 2-м характеристикам: по скорости и пониманию.
Скорость – очень важная характеристика для беглых видов чтения (1-3). Когда вы что-то ищите, то за одну минуту вы должны уметь прочитать около страницы. Когда вы просматриваете книгу, то за одну минуту вы должны прочесть полстраницы. Когда вам надо ознакомиться с книгой, то за одну минуту вы должны ознакомиться с ¼ страницы.
