Группа глаголов, которая не употребляется во временах группы Continuous

Есть глаголы (так называемые статические глаголы), которые не передают действие как процесс и, соответственно, не употребляются во временах группы Continuous:

1. глаголы чувственного восприятия: to see, to hear, to feel, to smell, taste, etc . Например: The soup tastes good.

2. глаголы ментальной деятельности: to know, to believe, to think (=to have an opinion), to feel (= to think), to guess, to mean, to realize, to remember, to understand, to suppose, etc.Например: I don’t understand a word he’s saying.

3.глаголы предпочтения: to love, to like, to dislike, to hate, to prefer, to want, to wish, etc.Например: Cathy likes romantic films.

TO BE GOING TO DO STH

Выражение to be going to do something используется для передачи намерений говорящего, относящихся к будущему. На русский язык это выражение переводится как «собираться что-то делать»:

I am going to visit my relatives next week. She is going to watch this movie at the weekend.

Я собираюсь навестить своих родственников на следующей неделе. Она собирается посмотреть этот фильм на выходных.

Past Continuous Tense употребляется для передачи:

действия, которое проходило в прошлом в определенный момент времени. Временными маркерами данного времени являются выражения: at 5 o’clock; from 5 to 6 on Sunday, etc	I was writing a letter to my friend at 5 o’clock yesterday. I was watching television from 5 to 6 yesterday.
длительного действия в прошлом, которое прерывается кратким действием, для передачи которого используется Past Simple Tense	He was walking when he slipped on a banana skin. I was sleeping when the phone rang.

Future Continuous Tense употребляется:

для передачи временного действия, которое произойдет в будущем в определенный момент времени. Временными маркерами данного времени являются выражения: at 5 o’clock tomorrow; from 5 to 6 next Sunday, etc	I will be taking my exam at 5 o’clock tomorrow. I will be reading a book from 5 to 6 tomorrow.
для передачи длительного действия в будущем, которое прерывается кратким действием, для передачи которого используется Present Simple Tense, т.к. после союзов when, if Future Simple не употребляется	He will be sleeping when I come.
