A – Attribute – определение

В повествовательном предложении подлежащее стоит впередисказуемого, а дальше идёт дополнение. S + V + O

aS + VaO 4

The passport officer checked my passport at the airport.

Что касается обстоятельств, то здесь полезно в качестве опоры вспомнить название игры

''Что? Где? Когда?'', т.е. после дополнения (что?) сначала идёт обстоятельство места (где?), а затемобстоятельство времени (когда?).

Порядок слов в вопросительном предложении

Существует несколько типов вопросов

1. ‘Yes/no questions’ (общие вопросы), требуют ответа «Да» или «Нет»

Вспомогательный глагол – подлежащее - сказуемое

Примеры:

Do you speak English? Yes, I do / No, I don’t

Will Jane resign? Yes, she will / No, she won’t

Are they ready? Yes, they are / No, they aren’t

2. ‘Wh questions’(Специальные вопросы) начинаются с вопросительного слова и требуют особого ответа

Вопросительное слово - Вспомогательный глагол – подлежащее - сказуемое

Вопросительные слова: what, why, where, how

Примеры:

Where are you going? - I’m going to work, downstairs, the library etc

How many languages do you speak? - Three
