The Present Simple употребляется:

3. с глаголами, которые нельзя употребить в Present Continuous: see, hear, understand, believe, know, want, hate, need, forget, like, belong, have, be, rememberи др. – I don't understand it. Do you know it? I need your help.

Signal words: always, often, regularly, every day, from time to time, on Mondays, usually, in general, sometimes, seldom.

Helen: Hello, everybody! Welcome to Playtime. Can you hear the music? Listen. The circus is in town. Do you like going to the circus?

What do you like best? The elephants, the monkeys, the tigers, the lions or the clowns? I like the clowns best. So does Jill. Her new school friend is a clown.

Clown: Can you spell your name?

Jill: J-I-L-L. Jill.

Can you spell your name? Look, Cornflake. C-O-R-N-F-L-A-K-E.

Helen: Cornflake is in Jill's class. He knows a lot of magic tricks. And he's very good at juggling. But he's not very good at spelling.

Jack: Hi!

Cornflake: Hi!

Jill: This is my brother Jack.

Jack: Who are you?

Cornflake: I'm a clown.

Jack: Where do you come from?

Cornflake: I come from Scotland.

Jill: No. Scotland.

Jack: Where do you live?
