The construction consists of:
1) a nominal element (a noun in the common case or a pronoun in the objective case)
2) an Infinitive which is in predicate relation to the noun in the common case or the pronoun in the objective case.

The construction is translated into Russian mainly by an object clause (дополнительным придаточным предложением) where the subject corresponds to the nominal element of the construction and the predicate — to the Infinitive. The Russian object clause may be introduced by the conjunctions – что, чтобы, как.

This Infinitive Construction helps the speakers to simplify the complex sentence into the simple one. Compare the following sentences in order to make
e.g. “We want that John will visit us.” – It is the complex sentence with the objective subordinate clause. There is a way to make it simple, using the “Objective-with-the Infinitive Construction”.
e.g. “We want John to visit us.”– It is a simple sentence, where the object isn’t only “John”– but – “John to visit”– which form the “Objective-with-the Infinitive Construction” or merely – “Complex Object.”
The Use of the” Objective-with-the Infinitive Construction”
