ОЗНАКИ:
√ завжди відокремлюється комою;
√ перед дієприкметником стоїть іменник;
Іноді замість коми стоїть прийменник WITH.
ПЕРЕКЛАДАЄТЬСЯ:
1) підрядним реченням причини, часу, умови:
The day being warm, we opened the windows.
Так як день був теплий, ми відкрили вікна.
The work (being) over, everybody went home.
Коли роботу було закінчено, всі пішли додому.
The article (having been) written, he sent it to the editor.
Після того, як стаття була написана, він відіслав її редактору.
Weather permitting, we’ll go to the park.
Якщо погода дозволить, ми підемо у парк.
