II. What types of hotels can you mention to illustrate the classification according to hotel functions? Describe the facilities of a modern commercial hotel or a seaside tourist hotel.

Hotels 1*
The room has a wardrobe or a coat rack, chairs, a sink, a mirror, two towels for each guest. Daily cleaning, change of linen should be changed every 7-8 days, towels - every 3-4 days. At least two bathrooms per floor and one toilet for not more than five rooms.
Hotels of category 2*
All the same, that in 1*, only the sheets are changed every 6 days. Toilet and bathroom are usually in the room. The hotel should also be a restaurant or cafe, but also offer dining options.
The hotels of category 3*
Starting from 3* and above each room must contain a toilet and a bathroom, dressing table, stand for Luggage, radio etc. the Rooms are mostly three-star hotels, except the cheapest, have TV, air conditioning. Floors usually are tiled. Change of sheets 2 times a week. Towels are changed daily. From perfume accessories offers only soap. In some hotels you can rent an iron. On the premises may be located: Parking, swimmimg pool (resort hotels), restaurant, hairdresser, business centre, currency exchange. The hotel staff dressed in uniforms with the division on service.
4*hotels
All that in 3* hotels, plus:mini-bar, individual air conditioning, telephone, safe, Hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel in each room (usually issued on the day of arrival). Daily change of bed linen and towels. Offering services such as washing, Ironing and cleaning of clothes (minimum order - day). A price list is available at the reception. In the room is served the Breakfast menu. On the territory of the hotel there are: beauty salon, sports centre, car rental, TV room, music room, game and meeting rooms, restaurant, sauna, swimming pool, etc.
Hotels category 5*
Same as in 4* hotels, but at a more qualitative level. And sometimes there is a second bathroom and telephone in bathroom.

Facilities in tourist hotel:

Department food and beverage,

Executive lounge,

comfortable rooms,

Parking,

exchange office,

fitness centre,

sauna,

conference hall,

swimming pool.
