Grammar The Future Indefinite Tense

We form the future simple with will + the bare infinitive.

Will is used for all persons.

Example: Dana will book a room tomorrow morning

Use will + bare infinitive to make predictions about the future.

      I/You/ He/She/IT We/They     will     go.
      I/You/ He/She/IT We/They     won’t     go.
        Will   I/you/ he/she/it we/they       go?
Yes, I will. or No, I won’t.

We often use I (don’t) think and I hope with will when making predictions.

I think Liverpool will win the Cup.

I hope It’ll be sunny tomorrow.

Use I don’t think he’ll ….. Not I think he won’t.

We can also use will for making promises and spontaneous decisions.

Well, OK. I’ll be there in five minutes.

I’ll do the washing up when I’ve finished this
