A disastrous holiday

Noisy neighbours

Learning how to learn

A wildlife cameraman

I (1)…B.. a living as a freelance wildlife cameraman working all over the world. It is my job to provide the (2)….. material from which a natural history programme is (3)….. up. If the lifestyle agrees with you, the travel and the filming can be great. There is fantastic variety: I often do not have the slightest (4)….. where I am going or what I will see. A love of travelling

For Nigel Portman, a love of travelling began with what’s (1)….. a ‘gap year’. In common with many other British teenagers, he chose to take a year out before (2)…….. to study for his degree. After doing various jobs to (3)…….. some money, he left home to gain some experience of life in different cultures, visiting America and Asia. Holidays

Sport

Choosing clothes

Are you one of the thousands of people who eagerly follow every new (1) ..…that appears? Moving in

Past, present and future

A hundred years ago, most people travelled (1) ….. foot, by train, or on horseback. (2) ….. had made it possible to travel rapidly over long distances. Chickpea soup

This recipe is both (1) ……. and cheap. If you use dried chickpeas (2) …… them for at least twelve hours in cold water. Drain them and put them in a large (3)……with plenty of water. Street markets

Most people enjoy looking for (1) ……in street markets. It can be very enjoyable walking around the (2) …… , among the crowds of (3) ……, and trying to spend as (4) …… as possible. Of course it depends (5) …… the market. In fruit and (6) …… markets, there is usually a wide variety of (7) …… produce, but it may not be cheap.
