Practical:oral questioning, testing, analysis of medical records, the solution case studies.
Student’s independent work the teacher controlled (SIWTC):
participate in the reception of patients, supervision case patients, practical skills, interpretation of laboratory results.
Students’ independent work (SIW)working with phantom, students work with a training and additional literature, electronic media and the Internet, abstracts and presentations.
The form of the SIW:Abstracts work, project work (presentation).
Criteria and rules of assessment.
Methods for assessing the knowledge and skills of students:
Assessing the students on five criteria of competence:
1. Theoretical knowledge of the student are assessed on the previous criteria - added test answers, oral questioning, solutions situational problems. (ГОСО РК 5.03.06-2006 «Система образования Республики Казахстан. Контроль знаний в высших учебных заведениях» от 26.08.2006г.). The maximum score – 100
2. To assess the practical skills evaluated each step the assignment. Performed by the student practical skills are assessed on the following criteria:
0-49 | Can not apply the knowledge in practice, in the assessment of the problem situation. Makes an erroneous conclusion. Practical skills does not consistently wrong. |
50-74 | Difficult to apply knowledge in practice, in the assessment of the problem situation. Hard to argue the conclusion. Practical skills to step through, but makes mistakes. |
75-89 | Is able to apply the knowledge in practice, to assess the problem situation, but difficult to argue opinion. Practical skills to perform the steps in the implementation, there are some inaccuracies. |
90-100 | Actively applying knowledge in practice and transforms them according to the situation, is critical of the information, draw conclusions, explains and justifies the statement. Practical skills to perform the steps clearly. |

3. Assessment of communication skills
0-49 | No initiative, does not participate in the discussion, is not involved in the resolution of disputes, with difficulty comes in contact with the patient avoids contact with the medical staff. |
50-74 | No initiative, passive in the discussion, inadequate reaction to the criticism of the medical staff and the emotions, show respect, but not correct. Can collect history, but not in full. |
75-89 | Initiative, participated in the discussion, responding to criticism of the medical staff, be respectful, polite. Can reassure the patient, collect history, but makes mistakes. |
90-100 | Initiative, is actively involved in the discussion can quickly get in touch with the medical staff, observes ethics. Available can properly explain the patient her condition, to reassure her. That's right, just asking the right questions, can collect history. Makes no mistakes. |

4. Patient advocacy skills assessed by an oral examination. The maximum score – 100
5. The process of self-improvement of the student is evaluated based on the results of independent work of the student, knowledge of the latest research data on a given topic, participating in the research work of the student, conferences. The maximum score – 100

Summary:
90-100 score of "excellent" -the student has shown a comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of the material topics accurately and creatively fulfilled the task with respect to the structure of the presentation abstract different sources of text with illustration, with reference to the literature over the past 5 years;
75-89 points "good" -the student fulfilled the assignment subject to presentation of an abstract structure, using different sources of text with illustration, with reference to the literature over the past 5 years, with the unprincipled made mistakes in the presentation of the material;
50-74 points "satisfactory" -the student finished the task very briefly, not in full, and the fundamental mistakes made in the presentation of the material;
49 points or less "unsatisfactory" -the structure of the presentation abstract inadequate.
Presentation:
90-100 score of "excellent" -the student has shown a comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of the material topics accurately and creatively fulfilled the task to meet a delivery structure presentation. The main points of clear and specific themes reflected by 10-15 slides, highlighting the most important information, with reference to the literature over the past 5 years. Illustrations of good quality (high resolution), with a clear image.
75-89 points "good" -the student fulfilled the assignment subject to presentation of the layout structure, and the unprincipled made mistakes in the presentation;
50-74 points "satisfactory" -the student finished the task very briefly or with large amounts of text on a slide, illustrations of satisfactory quality;
49 points or less "unsatisfactory" -introduced the presentation does not meet the requirements.
