If The Shoe Fits

For many people, finding the right pair of shoes is more than just an excuse to go shopping, it’s an obsession. After all, shoes are incredibly important. It’s an article of faith to the fashion savvy that footwear puts the finishing touch on every ensemble, and no outfit can survive a poor choice in shoes. And any athlete can tell you that the shoes may not make you run faster, jump higher, or drive the ball farther, but at least you’ll look and feel good doing it. And for all of us, there are few better feelings than that first day spent in a pair of comfortable new shoes. Yes, although we may not give them much notice, shoes hold a curious power over our lives.
