General characteristics of the curriculum

The curriculum "Technological machines and equipment" developed in accordance with the national framework of qualifications and professional standards, consistent with the Dublin descriptors and the European frame of qualifications, on the basis of the State educational standards of higher education, master's degree, approved by the Government of Kazakhstan dated 23 August 2012 (number 1080) and the model curriculum (2016) by specialty 6M072400 - "Technological machines and equipment". The curriculum is designed based on a modular system of studying of disciplines and contains 4 module forming common cultural, special language and professional competence.

The total number of credits for this curriculum - 59 credits, of which: the total number of credits for theoretical training - 42 credits for prac-tical training (all practices) - 6 credits, experimental master’s research, including writing a Master's project - 7 credits, Final certification - 4 credits, including a comprehensive examination in the specialty - 1 credit and preparation and protection of the master's thesis 3 credits.

3 Qualification characteristics:

3.1 Field of professional activity:

- production and psycho-pedagogical activities in organizations of secondary, high and auxiliary professional education of technical and agricultural areas, research and development, design and production organizations;

- research activities in the field of education and industry in improving the skills of workers according to specialization;

- education, management and planned activities in accordance with the qualification obtained Master of Technical Sciences.

- Master of this profile is prepared for the activity in the field of material production, which includes a set of tools, techniques and methods of human activity aimed at solving complex problems associated with the design, operation and repair of transport equipment.

3.2 Objects of professional activity:

- enterprises and organizations working on the industrialization map;

- enterprises and organizations engaged in training and retraining of specialists;

- research & design organizations of the education sector;

- mechanical engineering factories producing transportation machinery and equipment; enterprises and organizations engaged in the trans-portation equipment operation: design and technological organizations; mechanical engineering enterprise; brand dealerships and engineering and repair factories; marketing and freight forwarding services; systems of logistics, transport management service.

3.3 The subject of professional activity:

- technological machines and equipment; power equipment; running equipment; working equipment; drive system technology machinery and equipment; traffic control system; life-support systems;

- equipment for the production, testing and utilization of technological machines and equipment;

- equipment for maintenance and repair of technological machines and equipment;

- instrumentation for the manufacture and operation of technological machinery and equipment;

- equipment for automation of workflow technology machines and equipment.

3.4 Types of professional activity:

Organizational and technological activities:

- development of design, technology, design and estimate documentation for the creation and repair of technological machines and equip-ment;

- organization of the group of performers, taking into account the various views and management decisions;

- a compromise solution based on different requirements (cost, quality, deadlines and safety) in different types of planning and determination of optimal solutions;

- consideration of the different types of costs in order to ensure production of quality products.

Production and management activities:

- optimization of manufacturing process technology of machines and equipment;

- quality control of manufacturing processes, materials and finished products;

- selection and effective use of materials, equipment and other resources for the implementation of production processes;

- metrological testing means measuring the indicators of quality of production;

- activities of standardization and certification of technological machines and equipment, manufacturing technology and repair;

- organization and management of services, enterprises related to maintenance and repair of technological machines and equipment.

Project activities:

- definition of project goals and objectives, taking into account various factors in the construction of their relationship structures and the identification of priority areas of problem solving;

- development and analysis of options to address the consequences of the prediction problems, planning and implementation of projects;

- development projects of technological machines and equipment, taking into account technological, engineering, aesthetic, economic and other parameters;

- use of information technology in the choice of materials, processing machinery and equipment.

3.5 Functions of professional activity:

- work on drawing up the technical documentation and established reporting on approved forms;

- providing training and instruction on safety, health and the environment;

- monitoring compliance with the requirements for the preparation of documentation for the quality management of technological machines and equipment.
