Место наречия в предложении

Наречия могут стоять в начале, середине или конце предложения.

Наречия частоты обычно ставятся перед смысловыми глаголами, но после вспомогательных глаголов.

He often helps me. Он часто помогает мне.
He is always in time for the lessons. Он всегда вовремя приходит на уроки.

Наречия времени обычно ставятся или в начале или в конце предложения.

I’ll wait till tomorrow. Я подожду до завтра.
Yesterday she left London. Вчера она уехала из Лондона.

Наречия степени могут стоять перед прилагательным или наречием, которое они определяют.

Ann is quite good at Mathematics. Анна довольно хорошо знает математику.

Наречия образа действия обычно ставятся после глагола, если глагол является непереходным.

She danced beautifully. Она танцевала прекрасно.

Когда глагол является переходным, наречие ставится или после дополнения, или перед глаголом.

She spoke French well. Она говорила на французском языке хорошо.
He easily translated the text. Он легко перевел текст.

Степени сравнения наречий

(The Degrees of Comparison of Adverbs)

В английском языке различают три степени сравнения наречий: положительную (The Positive Degree),сравнительную (The Comparative Degree)ипревосходную (The Superlative Degree).

Наречия образуют степени сравнения по тем же правилам, что и прилагательные:

1) односложные и некоторые двусложные наречия (early рано) образуют сравнительную степень при помощи суффикса -er и превосходную степень при помощи суффикса -est.

fast быстро faster быстрее fastest быстрее всего (всех)
hard тяжело, усердно harder тяжелее, усерднее hardest тяжелее, усерднее всего (всех)
early рано earlier раньше earliest раньше всего (всех)

2) сравнительная степень многосложных наречий образуется при помощи слова more, а превосходная – при помощи слова most.

beautifully красиво more beautifully более красиво most beautifully красивее всего (всех)
clearly ясно more clearly яснее most clearly яснее всего (всех)

3) несколько наречий являются исключениями – их степени сравнения образуются без суффиксов и вспомогательных слов, как и степени сравнения соответствующих им прилагательных.

well хорошо better лучше best лучше всего (всех)
badly плохо worse хуже worst хуже всего (всех)
much много more больше most больше всего (всех)
little мало less меньше least меньше всего (всех)
far далеко farther/further дальше farthest/furthest дальше всего (всех)

Имя числительное (The Numeral)

Именем числительным называется часть речи, которая обозначает количество или порядок предметов.

Имена числительные делятся на количественные (Cardinal Numerals) и порядковые (Ordinal Numerals).

Количественные числительные обозначают количество предметов и отвечают на вопрос how many? сколько? Например: one один,two два,three три и т. д.

Порядковые числительные обозначают порядок предметов и отвечают на вопрос which?который?Например: first первый,second второй, third третий и т. д.
